Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe procedures for preparing in advance for BDI-3 administration, including familiarity with kit materials and domain-specific tasks.
- Demonstrate effective strategies for practicing test tasks and using manipulatives to support accurate and efficient administration.
- Apply the features of the Mobile Data Solution (MDS) to administer, score, and document assessments accurately during initial and subsequent administrations.

Ije Hoffmann is a Developmental Psychologist and Child Development Specialist with the New Jersey Early Intervention System. She provides Developmental Intervention therapy and family training to early intervention–eligible children under age three and their families.
With formal training in developmental psychology and extensive hands-on experience supporting young children, Ije is deeply committed to early intervention and family-centered practice. Since entering the field in 2016, she has focused on helping children who need additional support during the earliest years—when development is rapid and foundational.
Her professional work, combined with her experience as a parent of two young children, informs her practical, empathetic approach to assessment and intervention.
