Introduction to the Research-Based Updates in the WJ V COG
About the Session:
Recently updated and re-normed, the WJ V COG is the fifth generation of a comprehensive set of tests for measuring cognitive abilities. This session will introduce the new WJ V COG tests, clusters, and interpretive features and discuss how the battery--which is aligned with contemporary CHC theory--can be used in a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s strength and weaknesses within and across cognitive domains.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn about the changes and updates in the WJ V COG battery
- Gain insight into the research-based rationale for the updates to the GIA and broad CHC ability cluster scores
- Learn how to interpret the difference score base rates from the Intra-Cognitive Comparison procedure.
