Supporting Strong Assessment Practices through Microcredentials
Supporting Strong Assessment Practices through Microcredentials
May 19 | 11:00 CT | 12:00 ET
Special education assessment has become increasingly complex, with growing expectations for consistency, clarity, and defensible decision‑making across teams. This 30‑minute webinar explores how micro‑credentialing can serve as a supportive, flexible way for districts to reinforce shared foundations in assessment practice—while honoring professional expertise and judgment.
Designed for special education administrators, assessment personnel, and teachers involved in evaluation, this session introduces the Riverside Academy Micro‑Credential Program (RAMP) and the role micro‑credentials can play in strengthening alignment, confidence, and shared language across diverse teams. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what micro‑credentials are (and are not), how RAMP is structured, and how districts are beginning to use this approach to support assessment work in a changing landscape.
