    Welcome to the BEAS Practice Portal!

    To get started, please join the onboarding webinar. During this webinar, you will:

    • Experience MDS and Riverside Score firsthand by navigating real BEAS assessment items in the Practice Portal
    • Explore literacy and math domains and subdomains, including age-based start points, basals, and ceilings
    • Practice scoring and reporting to see how item-level data rolls up into actionable insights
    • Understand where BEAS fits in MTSS workflows, early academic readiness, and dyslexia risk screening
    • Learn how BEAS supports efficient, examiner‑friendly administration, with minimal materials and built‑in guidance

     

    Instructor Credentials:

    Lila Chase, B.S., M.Ed., - is the Product Marketing Manager for the BDI‑3 at Riverside Insights. She began her career teaching special education in early childhood through elementary ages before moving into district‑level leadership overseeing special education programs. Lila then expanded into curriculum and content development focused on improving instructional tools for diverse learners. These experiences inform her work guiding the development and continual improvement of the Battelle products.
