Vivek Kartha
Chief Executive Officer
Vivek Kartha is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of leadership and strategic growth. He currently serves as the CEO, bringing extensive experience from his previous role as the CEO of Alpine, a leading software company. Prior to that, Vivek held key leadership positions at renowned organizations such as AIG and Deloitte, where he honed his expertise in business management and operations.
Vivek's academic foundation includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he sharpened his strategic thinking and leadership skills, and a BA in Economics from Case Western Reserve University. His background in both finance and technology, coupled with his diverse corporate experience, has positioned him as a dynamic leader capable of driving innovation and success across industries.
Phillip Mikula
Chief Growth Officer
Phillip is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in educational sales and business growth. Currently serving as Chief Growth Officer at Riverside Insights, he leads strategic initiatives to expand market presence. Previously, he was SVP of Sales at Defined Learning, where they drove sales performance and team success.
With a strong background in education partnerships, Phillip grew sales by 70% at Discovery Education and earned the President’s Circle Award. He has also excelled in leadership roles at ACT, Across Curriculum Boundaries, and KAMICO Instructional Media, consistently exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
Earlier, Phillip served as Executive Director of Visual and Performing Arts at Victoria ISD, where they managed large teams and contributed to educational initiatives.
Hunt Jackson
Chief Financial Officer
Joining Riverside in January 2021 as the Chief Financial Officer, Hunt is responsible for the legal, accounting, finance, and facilities areas of the company. Prior to Riverside, he held several senior management positions at Equifax, CheckFree, and KPMG in Corporate Development and Finance organizations leading M&A and other Strategic Finance activities.
Hunt received his MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a member of the 1990 National Championship football team.
Raised in Savannah, Georgia, Hunt currently lives in Atlanta with his wife and two sons. He enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis and golf, volunteering, and pulling for his beloved “Yellow Jackets.”

Jim Bowler
General Manager, Classroom
Jim Bowler is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in the educational technology sector. He has held significant roles in both leadership and marketing, including serving as the CEO of Adaptive Curriculum and HMH's Classroom Connect. Jim's career also includes key marketing positions at Harcourt and Pearson, where he contributed to shaping educational solutions that support teaching and learning on a global scale.
With a background in education, Jim’s leadership is grounded in his experience as a former high school principal. He holds an MA in Educational Administration from San Jose State University and a BA in Government from Notre Dame, which provide him with a unique perspective on the intersection of technology, education, and policy. Jim's deep understanding of both the education and edtech landscapes drives his passion for transforming learning experiences.
Tyler Morrison
General Manager, Clinical
Tyler Morrison serves as the General Manager of Clinical at Riverside Insights, where he leads a talented and customer-focused team dedicated to making the customer experience easy, enjoyable, and insightful. Since joining Riverside Insights in June 2019, Tyler has played an integral role in the company’s growth and success, serving in key leadership roles such as General Manager of Impact and Head of Operations, where he drove operational excellence and streamlined processes across the organization.
Prior to joining Riverside Insights, Tyler was a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on solving key challenges for clients. He also had the privilege of serving as a Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Marines. Tyler received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy.
Originally from Okemos, Michigan, Tyler now resides in Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys CrossFit, skiing, and reading.
Sunjay Talele
SVP of Digital Excellence
Sunjay Talele is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience leading Sales & Marketing, Product Management, and Professional Services divisions. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Digital Excellence, where he drives innovation and operational excellence across digital initiatives.
Previously, Sunjay was the Digital Platforms leader at Equifax, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives in the digital space to enhance platform capabilities and drive business growth.
Sunjay holds both an MS and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Florida, which have provided him with a strong technical foundation to complement his leadership and business acumen in the digital transformation space.
Sunjay resides in Metro Atlanta with his wife, son, and daughter and enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, playing tennis, and eating anything that's spicy.
